I’m a Belfast native who began working life in London’s publishing scene. On discovering marketing reports and statistics weren’t really my thing, I veered left and jumped head first into the soupy waters of verbal identity, value definition and message design. It’s a job I relish and one I am lucky to have.

Why Designwriter? Well, I am a writer through and through, but design is just as close to my heart. For me, the sweet spot is when wordcraft and visual language work together to create something magical, and so I’m always on the lookout for opportunities to work with designers from every discipline.

Ever the portfolio careerist, I mentor and tutor on various brand and writing related university courses and business programmes all over Ireland. I do talks and conferences about writing and storytelling too.

For details on residential courses on creative writing in business, just click on Dark Angels for the calendar, or drop me an email directly.

Getting creative with words is good for the soul as well as your brand. For personal, non-businessy projects, etchings and scribbles, head to the Journal.
