Nature Therapy

What is it about being close to nature that makes us feel so alive? What magic occurs deep within when we feel the sun’s warmth on our cheeks or hear the witt-witt-witt of summer’s first swallows?

With so much anxiety and uncertainty invading our precious days, spending time in natural places holds the possibility of meeting again the essence of who we are, what we would like to be and where those threads weave throughout our relationships in life and at work.

As a writer and strategist, being a nature therapy practitioner may seem a smidge incongruous. But, I’ve discovered that each part of my work supports the other. Each element brings its own rhythm and equilibrium.

I set up Kindlings in response to my own personal connection with nature – to offer 'refugia' or safe spaces so others can find their own answers to this fundamental question: “What can I do to stay present and open to my life and to the world?”
